The Midi Story

Welcome back, guys!

So this is my second post and I am three much excited to share with you all my new summer look. Summer defines fashion. Summer is on? Bring out the crops, tank tops, shorts and skirts. We girls love a little glitter in our outfit (reminds me of fairies) but usually, it tends to become a bit over the top. I mean, if you want to head out to a brunch date with your girls, or to attend another event of this sort, you don’t want to give an overwhelming vibe.

So in this post, I am sporting a glittery skirt and a sleeveless top from AND clothing range from Pantaloons. This outfit, as you can see below, is very chic, yet simple. Wearing this when you step out during the daytime will not be as awkward as it tends to get with glittery stuff. I love how the skirt is gorgeous, yet has that soft essence to it. It has a pencil skirt cut that fits your body, but I would like to point out that it camouflages any excess fat around your lower waist region. The quality of the skirt is amazing, and very very comfortable to wear in this heat.

Now getting back to how to style it, I chose to wear a turquoise coloured sleeveless top (It is one of my favourite colours). You can go with either black, blue, orange or white. The top works best if it has a straight A line cut but poncho type tops work too.

I am wearing wedges from Shoespieย that I REALLY love! These are one of its kind shoes, and I have fallen in love with them at first sight. But yes, you can style this outfit with either knee boots or wedges. I am wearing accessories that I bought from a store called Claire, and it has some amazing collection. The love necklace is totally my favourite!

Lastly, what’s the use of an outfit without a total jaw-dropping clutches? I got this unique clutch from Annabelle and I am a fan of it ever since. Not only does it complement the outfit, the ring design over the top is totally chic. I have put on Maybelline’s ‘Infinitely Fuschia’ lip colour and this is the perfect shade of pink that I have ever owned.
